For the past several years, Lima First Church of the Nazarene was in decline to the point of nearly closing her doors. A faithful remnant of the congregation persevered, however, continuing to meet and pray that God would bless their work and that they would see a revival of what was once a vibrant congregation. In recent days, God has brought together a team of various individuals and families from the community that are energized to relaunch a new work at 300 W Elm St as Elm Street Church of the Nazarene, with the blessing of the Northwest Ohio Nazarene District. This new work will be both a church and a compassionate ministry center, looking to meet the needs of the immediate surrounding community.
